3...2...1... Blast off!
The Morris Area Elementary School sixth graders participated in a fun science experiment on Thursday afternoon. The students were paired up and hand made water rockets made from empty plastic bottles, cardboard and lots of duct tape and set them sailing across the yard near the playground at MAES.
Next Friday, May 30, the students will take part in launch part II as MAES Science teacher Caleb Greene and the sixth grade class launch 75 chemical rockets, starting at 6 a.m.
