Agencies respond to multi-vehicle crash Monday

MORRIS – On Monday, July 15 at approximately 12:15 p.m. there was a multi-vehicle crash near Superior Industries.

The accident at the corner of 468th Avenue and Highway 28 involved two cars, a van and a semi sitting at the intersection. The Morris Fire Department was called because one of the drivers was thought to be stuck in one of the cars involved.

Two people were transported to Stevens Community Medical Center with minor injuries for further evaluation, said Morris Fire Chief Dave Dybdal.

“Everyone is very lucky, especially when there are multiple vehicles involved,” Dybdal said.

Other responding agencies include the Stevens County Ambulance Service, Morris Police Department, Morris Fire Department, Stevens County Sheriff’s Department and the Minnesota State Patrol.
