Alberta teenager pleads guilty to second degree murder in mother's death

MORRIS - Jacob Seth Cobb pled guilty on Wednesday to the December 2010 murder of his mother, 50-year-old Tamara Lee Mason.

Cobb, 18 of Alberta, pled guilty to the second count of his indictment, murder in the second degree while committing assault in the third degree, as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.


At the plea hearing, Cobb said that on the night of Mason's murder he and his brothers, Dylan Clemens and Andrew Cobb, got upset with their mother.
