Alexandria man killed in farming accident in Pope County

An Alexandria man was killed in a farming accident Thursday.

Lyndon Wilberg, 50, of Alexandria died in an accident involving a tractor.

The accident happened in Nora Township, in the northwest corner of Pope County, about four miles south of Kensington.

The case remains under investigation and the Pope County Sheriff's Office is not releasing details at this time.

The following agencies responded to the scene: Pope County Sheriff's Office, State Patrol, Cyrus Fire and First Responders, Kensington Fire and First Responders, and Stevens County Ambulance.
