Another dance group wins in week two talent contest

A group of dancers performing “Bandstand” won top honors at the second Kiwanis Talent Show Thursday in Morris. Taryn Paul, Parker Schmidgall, Nevaeh Anderson, Maddie Carrington, and Cortney Hickman will share the $50 prize.

Second place and $25 went to the dance trio featuring Anna Grove, Brooke Mattson, and Jackson Grove.

There was a tie for third place between dancer Emma Heil and jazz quartet “Section”.

First through third place qualify to compete at the contest finals during Prairie Pioneer Days. Registrations are being accepted for the remaining contests on June 20 and 27.
