Anthony Lyle Hendricks, age 25, died Feb. 1, 2007 at his home in Palmer, Alaska. A Celebration of Life Service was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Church of Covenant with Rev. Howard Bess officiating. He was born August 4, 1981 in Colorado Springs, Colo. to Joseph and Nancy (Hilla) Hendricks.
In 1994 he moved to Alaska, living in North Pole and Fairbanks before moving to Palmer. He was employed at the Black Dog Deli, the Valley Hotel, and various restaurants in Eagle River. He was also a part-time custodian at the church.
Some of his hobbies were sports, fishing, music and he loved to draw and was a great artist.
His family stated, "Andy loved the Lord and he always talked about family, loved his Mom, and his brother was his best "BUD." He will be forever missed and will always be in our hearts." "Until I see you again my son."
He is survived by his mother, Nancy (Hilla) Hendricks; his father, Joseph; brother, Stephen and fiance Tina; his aunt, Cheryl (Hilla) Milline of Wasilla; cousins Kevin Milline of Wasilla, Ryan and Amanda Milline of Las Vegas, Nev.; Tina and Shane Aubrey of Anchorage; maternal grandmother, Dorothy (Hilla) Eisel and husband, Robert of Donnelly; girlfriend Alicia of Palmer; uncle Dale Milline of King Solomon, Alaska; special friend Edward Stulz of Palmer; and many friends in Alaska and Colorado Springs, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lucille Hendricks of Kentucky; and his grandfather, Sylvester Hilla of Donnelly.
Arrangements were with Valley Funeral Home and Crematory in Wasilla.
