The program is sponsored by the VFW, Legion, AmVets and their auxiliaries, and the Sons of the American Legion.

The program honors those who served in the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Marines, Air Force, WACS Waves and the nursing services.

Anyone who served during the Korean War era, either state side or overseas between July 1950 and January 1955 are encouraged to attend.

Members of veterans organizations, auxiliaries and anyone that is a veteran, whether a member of a veteran's group or not, is invited to attend. Family and friends of veterans are also welcome.

Colors will be posted, and the flag pledge will be said.

Following introductions and speeches there will be a time for sharing wartime experiences.

The Sunday afternoon time was planned to make it easy for persons who may need assistance to attend. Relatives or friends may be able to transport veterans, and transportation from West Wind Village and Sky View are being planned. For other transportation needs or questions, call (320) 589-3275.

Following the program, the vet organization auxiliaries will provide and serve a light lunch.
