Area Student Accomplishments 020114

Scholarships, Dean’s List, Enrollment, Awards, Graduations

The University of North Dakota has released its 2013 Fall Semester Deans List honorees. The list comprises students whose grade point averages are in the top 15 percent of the enrollment in each of the University’s degree-granting colleges and schools. A student must have completed no fewer than 12 semester hours of academic work for the semester, of which eight or more hours must be graded work rather than “satisfactory/unsatisfactory.” Among those receiving the recognition are Melissa Ascheman, Katie Huot, and Timm Uhlmann of Morris.

Kendra Schmidgall of Hancock was named to the fall 2013 President’s List at Lake Area Technical Institute. The President’s List recognizes those students who have achieved a semester grade point average between 3.5 and 4.0 on a 4.0 scale.
