Lyn Koehl, Eric Wulf and Kayla Feuchtenberger of Morris and Andrew Steiner of Hancock have been named to the dean's list for academic excellence during the Spring 2014 semester at South Dakota State University. To earn dean's list distinctions in SDSU's colleges, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Stefan Lemke of Morris has been named to the St. Olaf College dean's list for the Spring 2014 semester. Lemke is an Individual major. He is a graduate of Morris Area High School and the son of Lory Lemke and Pieranna Garavaso. The Dean's list recognizes students with a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4-point scale.
Haley Geleneau and Aaron Jones of Morris have been accepted and have chosen to attend the University of Minnesota, Morris, one of the most respected liberal arts colleges in the nation.
Olivia Koehl and Kendra Schmidgall of Hancock have been named to the President’s List at Lake Area Technical Institute. The President’s List is limited to full-time students who have achieved a semester grade point average of 3.5 to 4.0.
The following Morris students have been named to the Minnesota State University Moorhead dean's list in recognition of academic achievement spring semester 2014: Holly Amundson, McKinley Beyer, Sydney Beyer, Kaylee Brandt, Maria Cin, Wade Ehlers, Hannah Estenson, Kayla Evink, Jackson Henrich, Katie Holzheimer and Laura Kuhn. Renae Mullins of Cyrus and Shadow Olson of Donnelly were also named to the dean’s list. Students must maintain a 3.25 or higher grade point average and carry 12 graded credits to qualify for the honor.
Darcey Aronson of Morris earned honor recognition from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point for the spring 2014 semester. Honor recognition is accorded to students with grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74.
Megan Wagner of Morris has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Minnesota, Duluth for the spring 2014 semester. Students on the dean's list have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Two area students were among those who graduated from the College of St. Scholastica on May 10 in a commencement ceremony at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Kelsey Peterson of Morris graduated with a B.S. in nursing. Adrienne Gahm of Morris graduated with an M.S. in athletic training.
