Area Weather: Allergies acting up? It's not a big surprise this season
How have your allergies been this season? If you are an allergy sufferer like yours truly, the season has seen its ups and downs.
You may be wondering, can the weather affect your allergies? Absolutely! Weather can have a big impact on your allergies and can influence your hay fever symptoms. You may notice that allergy symptoms are less severe on days that are raining, cloudy, or little wind is occurring.
Why is this? Because pollen doesn't move about as much when the conditions are such. When it is hot, dry, and windy there is greater pollen and mold in the air and your allergies may flair up. If you are one of those who suffers, hang in there, as you well know, the weather is always changing in Minnesota! Have a great week and weekend!
