Residents in Fargo-Moorhead area along the Red River of the North also had some good news this week. The river was at 35.54 feet on Thursday morning. It crested at nearly 37 feet on Sunday. Flood stage is 18 feet. By the way, the record level for the Red River in Fargo is 40.8 feet. Despite the good news with the river levels, things could change quickly if the Upper Midwest gets some major storms down the road. Thankfully, it has been a pretty quiet month as far as rain and snowstorms. We could see some light rain on Saturday, but thankfully no major spring storms on the horizon. For the latest information on the rivers you can go to http://www.crh.noaa.gov/fgf. Have a great weekend and enjoy the mild temperatures!
