Area Weather: Prepare for some rainfall over next few days

We could see up to three-fourths of an inch of rainfall through Saturday with some spots picking up more than an inch of rain.

Temperatures will cool-off for the weekend as well with highs only in the mid to upper 40s and lower 50s expected.

High pressure will return to the state by Monday and that will allow the sky to clear and drier air to settle in for Monday and Tuesday.

For Tuesday, we should see highs in the 60s with lots of sunshine. Rain chances will return by Wednesday and Thursday.
