Area Weather: Warmer weather on its way to area
We had a mild day on Thursday. The morning low was a mild 17 in Morris. Average lows this time of the year are typically in the lower teens. Highs across the region warmed-up into the 20s and 30s. Morris hit 26 degrees on Thursday. Another disturbance arrive on Friday with the main problem strong winds that caused blowing and drifting of snow. A few spots received an inch or so of snow with this system.
There will be 40s in our future for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. There will be slight chances for rain or snow. Could there even be some 50s in the area next week? There is a possbility.
