Arlene J. Carbert, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother from Circle Pines, passed away suddenly at home on Aug. 17, 2010.

Arlene J. Carbert was born May 24, 1933 in Holloway. Arlene enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Brandi. She also enjoyed shopping, fishing, and traveling. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Moundsview.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mable Baumgartner.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Floyd; children, Terry (Rick) Nelson, Chuck (Laura) Carbert, Mike Carbert, Deb (Brian) Klawitter; grandchildren, Aimee, Niki, Josh, Tony, Erin, Tonya, Jessie, and Jackie; great-grandchildren, Izabella, Makayla, Alexandra, and Noah; sister, Audrey (Bob) Opheim.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2848 County Road H2, Mounds View. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 19 from 5-8 p.m. at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, 10235 University Ave NE, Blaine. Visitation will also be held from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. on Friday at the church.

Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
