Badgie scores goal for Cougar win

A 68th minute goal from Ebrima Badgie was all the University of Minnesota, Morris men's soccer team needed to get the 1-0 win at Bethany Lutheran Saturday afternoon.

The Cougars are now 3-5-1 overall and 3-1 in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference.

John Hastings added the assist. Badgie has scored a goal in four straight matches.

The Cougars outshot the Vikings 10-4,forcing BLC keeper Ryan Botle to make nine saves. Badgie finished with six shots on goal and Matt Vik had two.

Jacob Borash had his second clean sheet in a row making four stops.

Next up for the Cougars will be home matches against Northwestern and North Central this Friday and Saturday at Cougar Field
