Three ace serves from both Beth Holland and Chelsey Ehleringer and a balanced offensive attack allowed Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta to sweep Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City 25-14, 25-21, 25-12 Monday in a West Central Conference match.

The Tigers have now won 10 of their last 11 matches dating back to Sept. 20. The Falcons lost for the fifth time in its last six matches.

With the win the Tigers improve to 7-3 in the conference and 14-7 overall.

Sydney Engebretson led the Tigers with nine kills while Nicole Strobel followed with six and Paige Schieler added five. As a team the Tigers misfired on only four attacks in 118 attempts.

Defensively for the Tigers, MicKenley Nagel had four ace blocks and Mikaela Henrichs piled up 28 digs.

Sydney Larson punched down a match-high 17 kills and Mariah Remmel served up three aces for the Falcons.
