Benson-Hancock finishes season second in conference

Taylor Semler took a no-hitter into the 7th inning and Benson-Hancock scored in every inning but the third as the Brave Owls blanked Yellow Medicine East 6-0 Monday to stay in the hunt for the West Central South Conference title.


With Semler striking out seven and allowing just one hit and lead-off hitter Tasha Wiebold going four for four, Benson-Hancock stayed tied with Minnewaska 13-2 and Paynesville 13-2 for first place in the conference.
