Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta sent 16 to the plate in a 10-run second inning to defeat Benson 16-4 Tuesday.

Six got hits, including back-to-back home runs by Ryan Beyer, a two-run shot, and Eric Riley, who homered again in the fourth with none on.

Winning pitcher Mitch Kill was 3-for-3 at the plate with three runs and three rbi. Eric Riley was 2-for-3 with 2 solo home runs, 2 rbi, and 3 runs; Tyler Hansen had a double in two at bats; Brody Bahr was 1-for-2; Alex Erickson was 1-for-2 with a double and one rbi; Aaron Vold was 1-for-2; Ryan Beyer 1-for-1, a 2-run homer with 2 runs and 3 rbi; Ethan Bruer was 1-for-2; Taylor Hufford was 1-for-2 with a double; and Matt Lembcke was 1-for-2.

Jaime Gonzalez had a two-run single in Benson's four-run fourth inning.
