Bits & Pieces -- August 5
This getting older is for the birds. I hate not being able to see as well as I used to. I mean I can't ever get dressed without my glasses on. You can't see snaps, hooks and buttons without them and heaven forbid I would put something on backwards, like a shirt or slacks. I remember in my younger years seeing or hearing of someone doing that and thought it was funny. It is no longer funny.
My memory, shot to pieces. A couple of weeks ago, I was writing my news and received a phone call a couple of days later. I put in the former name of the person. Now do I feel stupid or what? I am so sorry for the blunder and hope I didn't offend anyone by it. If I did, I again apologize.
How can something you just used and laid down, disappear in two seconds? When I find it, I know for sure I didn't put it there.
Remember the movie about the gremlins? Well they are real or at least they live at my place.
I received this email the other day and it sure does fit: "Remember the things you used to care to do, you no longer care to do, but you really do care that you don't care to do them anymore."
Have a good day!
