Alex Steffel and Brent O'Halloran of BOLD each turned in 100-yard rushing performances as the Warriors ran over Morris Area 42-14 in West Central South Conference football action Oct. 2.

Steffel ran 34 times for 189 yards and four touchdowns. O'Halloran added 118 yards on 22 carries and two TDs. The Warriors improved to 3-1 in the conference while amassing 294 yards on the ground.

Morris Area, now 2-2, was held to two rushing touchdowns from Tyler Hansen. Quarterback Ryan Beyer led the team with 68 rushing yards.

Trailing 14-0, the Tigers got on the board in the second quarter on a Hansen 12-yard run. The two-point conversion attempt failed.

In the third quarter, the Tigers got as close as 21-14 after a Hansen nine-yard run. Beyer ran it in for two extra points.

The Tigers rushed for 146 yards and threw for another 41.

Tanner Berning and Eric Riley each recorded an interception.
