Chris Klein, a videographer, said he and Jesse Knutson, a San Diego photographer, were preparing to fly on a 1:30 p.m. Saturday Allegiant flight from Fargo to Los Angeles.

Transportation Security Administration employees found a piece of equipment in Knutson's luggage that they thought might be a bomb, eventually calling in a police bomb squad, Klein said.

In reality, the device was a power converter, Knutson said.

Cass County Sheriff Paul Laney on Sunday confirmed that a police bomb squad was called to Hector Saturday and that a flight was delayed, but said he could provide no details
