On July 11, 2009, Boyd was united in marriage to Stacey Kehoe. They made their home in Johnson. Boyd was a kind hearted person who loved all living things. He would bring home any stray or wounded animal and tirelessly try to nurse them back to health. He also enjoyed snowmobiling; he was a handyman of all trades.
Boyd especially loved his family and was so happy to have married the love of his life. He was a friend, a son, a brother, a father, a grandfather, a husband, and most of all, someone you would never forget once you had the privilege of meeting him. Boyd's contagious laugh and smile will be remembered by his family and friends.
