Renae Olson, mortgage lender with RiverWood Bank in Morris, was recently recognized by the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency as one of Minnesota’s top producing home loan officers. Heidi Erickson, representing Minnesota Housing, recently traveled to Morris to congratulate Olson on her achievement of earning the “Gold” award in recognition of the exemplary work she performed offering Minnesota House programs. Starting Jan. 1, 2010, the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency began tracking all first-mortgage loans originated by individual loan officers as part of a program designed to recognize individual loan officer production. Olson began her banking career in 1974, ultimately joining RiverWood Bank, Morris, in 1998 as its mortgage lender.
The Minnesota Association for Volunteer Administration has awarded Steve Nagle, executive director of West Central Minnesota Communiities Action, with the MAVA Award for Excellence in Leadership. Nagle has been a strong champion for the agency’s five-county RSVP program, which engages local community members over the age of 55 in making a lasting impact for stronger communities.
