ST. PAUL -- Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta athletes Cody Cannon and Rachel Moser jumped for gold at the state track and field meet on Saturday.

Moser pole vaulted 11-0 without a miss and Cody Cannon won a narrow victory in the 110 hurdles.

This year, for once, the weather conditions were excellent -- sunshine, only a breeze with the mercury reaching the high 60s.
