Chamber Board: Peterson steps down as executive director
Carolyn Peterson has resigned as executive director of the Morris Area Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber Board of Directors chair Shelley Evink announced Peterson's resignation in an email letter.
Peterson's resignation was effective Monday, March 16.
"The Board is grateful to Carolyn for her contribution to the Chamber over the past several years," Evink stated in the letter. "Furthermore, we wish Carolyn the very best in her future endeavors."
The chamber board will form a search committee charged with finding a new executive director. Karen Arnold has accepted the Interim Position during this period, Evink stated.
