The first run came across to score in the top of the seventh with two outs as Madison took advantage of a Chokio error as the base runners were off with the crack of the bat.
Schmiesing made a great throw to gun the second runner down at the plate to get us out of the inning. With two outs in the bottom of the seventh Schroeder and Gibson both walked bringing up the top of our lineup. Westerman got a base hit to centerfield to plate Schroeder and tie the game forcing it into extra innings.
Madison was able to score two runs in the eighth and was able to hold on as we were unable to score with runners on first and second with two outs in the bottom of the eighth.
