Classes begin at UMM
The University of Minnesota, Morris opened its doors for the first day of classes for the 2010-2011 school year on Wednesday.

The annual Welcome Picnic is Wednesday evening at East Side Park.
Welcome Weekend events incluces the "Unusual Suspects" show at Edson Auditorium in the Student Center from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29.
Other Welcome Weekend events include:
Aug. 27, 9:30 p.m. to midnight -- "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," on the campus mall.
Aug. 28, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. -- Welcome Weekend Concert, on the campus mall.
Aug. 29, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. -- Welcome Weekend Student Activities Open House , UMM Student Center's Oyate Hall.
