BENEFIT AND VENDOR SHOW--all proceeds to benefit Angie Staples, diagnosed with stage 4 advanced breast cancer in January. The event is to be held at First Lutheran Church in Morris, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Free will donation brunch, vendor show and a silent auction will be held. THE FRIENDS OF THE MORRIS WETLAND MANAGEMENT DISTRICT host a Meet and Greet for the new assistant manager of the Wetland Office, Mead Klavetter, at the Common Cup in Morris from 3 to 6 p.m. s15

KENSINGTON FIRE AND RESCUE FUNDRAISER dinner will be at the Kensington Community Center, from 4 to 7 p.m. with items raffled off after the dinner. There will be an open house at the fire hall to show the new addition. Free will donations appreciated. s15
