Back to the Homelands Genealogy Workshop. This workshop is for everyone, especially descendants of ethnic groups who comprised the former nation of Czechoslovakia, including Bohemian (Czech), German-Bohemian (Bohmisch), Hungarian, Moravian, Ruthenian (Rusyn), Silesian, Slovakian, or those of Jewish ancestry. Canning Tomatoes: Salsa, Soup and Sauce. Want to can your own tomatoes? Now is your chance to learn how with Dorothy Rosemier, Master Gardener. Learn tips and tricks to making the most of your tomato harvest at 5 p.m. in the Horticulture Display Garden at the West Central Research and Outreach Center. Kids can experience TASTY VEGGIES during the tomato class. Admission is free, donations accepted.
