WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 20
Beneficial Insects: How to attract the good guys to your garden. Learn how to create a yard that welcomes wildlife. Whether you have a small patio garden or a large lot in the country, you can provide an inviting habitat for butterflies, bees and songbirds. Led by Dr. Margaret Kuchenreuther, associate professor of biology at UMM. Lunch begins at noon, the 1/2 hour program begins at 12:15 p.m. at the AgCountry Auditorium at WCROC. Bring your own lunch; coffee, tea and dessert provided. Admission is free. s6

Presentation of snoring and obstructive sleep will be held at First Lutheran Church, 200 East First Street in Morris at 1:30 p.m. There will be a display and demonstration of the Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) devices used in treatment. s7

World Day of Prayer will be held at First Lutheran Church, 200 E. 5th Street, Morris at 2 p.m. s8

SATURDAY, MARCH 2

Celebrate Read Across America Day with Dr. Seuss at the Morris Public Library from 1 to 3 p.m. Kids of all ages are invited to have fun with crafts, a movie, snacks and reading with students from the University of Minnesota, Morris' Education Minnesota Student Program. s8
