PROPAGATING HOUSEPLANTS. Through methods of propagation, Pat Mumm, Master Gardener, will demonstrate which types of plants you can propagate in your own home, and which method is best for each plant. AUTHOR EVENT at the Morris Public Library, 1 p.m. Scott Thoma of Willmar will speak about his new book, Out of the Blue. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Morris Public Library and refreshments provided by the Senior Center members. Please join us. s11

4-H SHARE THE FUN is at 7 p.m. at the Hancock school. 4-H clubs will be performing skits. Free and open to the public. s11

THE FEDERATED CHURCH THIS & THAT SALE will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church with crafts, plants, baked goods and white elephant sales. Morning coffee and lunch will be served. Proceeds go to missions. s11

SATURDAY, APRIL 6

A NATIONAL WEATHER CERTIFIED SEVERE WEATHER SPOTTER training course will be offered from 2 to 4 p.m. at the West Central Research and Outreach Center for for those interested in becoming a trained severe weather spotter for the National Weather Service in this area of western Minnesota. The class is open to the public and is free of charge. For more information contact Nick Elms at 763-516-1146. s12

TUESDAY, APRIL 16

MINNESOTA FIREARMS SAFETY classes will be at 7 p.m. There will be seven more classes on the following Tuesdays and Thursdays and they will be held in the Hancock Community Center.
