Community celebrates Habitat home groundbreaking

The Romberger family celebrated the groundbreaking of their new Habitat for Humanity home with the community April 22 at the construction site in Morris. Participants digging in are (left to right) construction manager Ken Jost, Michael, Darik, and William Romberger, Habitat for Humanity chapter president Gordon McIntosh, pastor Kristine Braaten-Lee, and Melissa and Kaitlin Romberger. The Rombergers' home is the third project for the Stevens County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity Prairie Lakes. The construction is a joint effort between Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Habitat for Humanity International. After the groundbreaking ceremony everyone in attendance gathered for a group photograph.
