Cool temps continue but 90s might be in the offing
It has been another cool week this week with highs generally in the low to mid 70s. Highs on Tuesday struggled to make it to 70 degrees across northern Minnesota. Morris reached only 73 degrees on Tuesday.
I must say that Morris did reach 82 degrees on Monday along with some widely scattered rain across the area, but that was short-lived.
"Normal" highs this time of the year are usually in the low to mid 80s for the area. There is a change, however, coming our way for the weekend! On Saturday we could see highs approaching 90 degrees across the state. Portions of Southern and Western Minnesota could even see some mid to upper 90s! Wow, I don't know if I can handle that!

WEATHER HISTORY
In 1968, 7.09" of rain fell at Mankato. Approximately 1,200 homes had slight to heavy damage. Highways 169 and 22 were blocked by mud slides.
