Cougar men bounce back in 3-0 win
After a tough loss to St. Scholastica on Friday, the University of Minnesota, Morris men's soccer team rebounded with a 3-0 victory over the Northland Lumberjacks.
Dylan Urban, Devin Chuba, and Christian Waage were the goal scorers for the Cougars.
UMM had chances early in the first half, but a couple nice saves kept them off the board including a ball that was saved off the line by a Lumberjack defender.
In the 26th minute senior Urban converted in the box putting UMM up 1-0. Ebrima Badgie and Scott DeVries picked up the assist.
The score remained 1-0 until late in the match when Chuba scored his fourth goal of the year in the 70th minute. Badgie had another assist on the Chuba goal.
In the 82nd minute Waage scored his second goal of the year thanks to an assist from Urban.
The Cougars are on the road this weekend as they travel to take on North Central on Friday at 1 p.m. and Northwestern on Saturday at noon.
Saturday was the final regular season home match for seniors Dylan Urban, Scott DeVries, Mark Halverstadt, Noah Hecht, and Ben Shabb
