Minnesota Morris shot 63.4 percent; they were 12-of-17 in the first half including going 5-of-7 from behind the three-point arc. The hot shooting led to a 39-23 halftime lead. The lead expanded to 19 in the first half as Pendleton's third three pointer gave UMM the 39-20 lead.
The Cougars built up their lead in the second half as they outscored Mayville 12-3 in the first five and a half minutes to take a 25-point lead.
