The University of Minnesota, Morris men's basketball team won a non-conference game against Trinity Bible and an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference game at Presentation College.
The Cougars hosted Trinity Bible College on Jan. 27 and picked up an 82-53 win.
UMM jumped out to a 36-25 halftime lead and never looked back.
The Cougars were shooting 46.7 percent overall, while Trinity was at 35.6 percent.
At the free-throw line the Cougars were 21-of-29. Trinity was 9-of-25.
All the Cougars player recorded points and four scored in double figures. Kendall Proell led the way with 16 points. Clay Fischer added 13 points. Daniel Fragodt and Jeremy Bosch had 10 apiece.
Also scoring were Zach Meyer and Mitch Primus with eight apiece, Jamin Ivers with seven, Kyle Bruns with five, John Hammer with three, and Chris Haglin with two.
Meyer grabbed a team-high seven rebounds. Fragodt and Primus each grabbed six.
Mayer also led in the assist column with five.
Fragodt and Ivers both had three steals.
The Cougars trailed 39-34 at halftime in Aberdeen on Jan. 30, but bounced back to defeat the Saints 76-66.
The Cougars were shooting 54.2 percent from the field in the first half, and were at 44.8 percent in the second half.
Presentation started out at 46.9 percent, but fell to 30.6 percent shooting in the second half.
At the free-throw line, the Cougars were 17-of-29, while the Saints were 9-of-13.
Three Cougars notched double figures including Meyer with 21, Proell with 19, and Fragodt with 16.
Also scoring were Bruns with nine, Fischer, Bosch, and Hammer with three apiece, and Ivers with two.
At the boards, Meyer led the Cougars with eight rebounds. Fragodt grabbed seven.
Proell dished out five assists to lead the Cougars.
