The University of Minnesota, Morris Cougar track and field had several personal bests on Friday, Feb. 28, in the 2014 Ole Open at St. Olaf College.

Leandro Dower took third in the 200 to lead the men's team. Laura Borkenhagen dropped her mile time by 12 seconds; it was the third best time in school history. RESULTS

Alex Ukkelburg set a PR by over a foot in the pole vault. Eli Chapple, Josiah Reimer and Caleb Schneider also had personal best times on Friday.

Hannah Goemann had the fourth fastest time in school history in her first run of the 3,000m. Anna Peterson broke 28 seconds in 200 for the first time in her career.

Next up for the Cougars is the point qualifier for the NCAA Championships in Lincoln, Nebraska. This qualifier will be held at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Saturday, March 8 with the NCAA Championships in Nebraska the following weekend.
