St. Scholastica was in control in the first half with a 14-0 shot advantage, but the Cougars did their job keeping them at bay. Beaver had two saves in the half and UMM defense stopped nine corners from the Saints.

In the second half the Saints outshot UMM 11-2, but it was the Cougars outshooting CSS 2-1 in the overtime period. The Saints got the match winner from Andrea Beatt.

The Cougars finish 12-5-2 and won 10-plus matches for the fifth time under Dan Magner.
