Cougar women wih 4th straight shut out

The University of Minnesota, Morris shut out an opponent for the fourth straight time on Saturday, defeating Crown College 5-0.

Justine Wolf had a pair of goals in the match and Zoe Bergstrom had a goal and an assist to lead the offense.

Katie Kestner got the scoring started in the fifth minute heading the ball from a Bergstrom cross. It was her sixth goal of the season.

Wolf then scored twice in a matter of five minutes to make it 3-0 at halftime in favor of UMM. Wolf now has three goals on the season.

Bergstrom added her seventh goal of the season in the 53rd minute scoring straight off a corner kick.

Emma LaChance scored her fourth goal in her freshman year off a corner cross from Christina Mollan.

Rikki Beaver and RiAnne Metz combined for the shutout for the Cougars.

The Cougars will head to New Ulm to take on Martin Luther on Thursday afternoon
