The Cougars allowed all of the Rams' scoring in the first three innings of both games to find themselves trailing 3-1 as they came to the plate to hit in the bottom of the third.

Olson had another big day for the Cougars as she led the team with five hits in seven trips to the plate, and compiled three RBIs on the day. Olson's big day at the plate helped her go from a .460 batting average when the day started to a .486 when the dust cleared after the second game which leads the team by .128. Her defense behind the plate helped both Mariah Essig, and Kelli Hamilton pick up wins, which moves Essig to one game over the .500 mark, and Hamilton to just one game under .500.

Essig in game one was just one strike short of her season-high mark of nine. After her performance she had tallied 68 strikeouts which puts her in second place in the school's history of strike outs behind Kaitlyn Randall in 2011 with 194.
