Cougars fall in exhibition

Sophomore Cody Emrick had 14 points on Wednesday night in the Cougars 110-69 exhibition loss to NCAA Division I North Dakota.
Brendon Foss had six points and six rebounds just four days after finishing the football season.
The Cougars shot 40.7% from the field and hit eight threes on the night.
Kevin Heysee had nine points off the bench and was the second leading scorer.
Three different Cougars had eight points including Tyler Pendleton, Evan Reller and Brodie Raymond. Neil Helgeson, RJ Dean and Joe Roggenbuck each had five points.
Minnesota Morris struggled in the first half but was able to rebound in the second half, shooting 56.0% from the field.
Morris will now move its focus to its regular season opener on Friday against Concordia Moorhead, on the road.
