Cougars lose home opener

The University of Minnesota, Morris football team was unable to stop the defense of UMAC south opponent Westminster College on Saturday, losing their home opener at Big Cat Stadium by a score of 51 to 14.

Westminster scored early and often in their first victory of the season. The Blue Jays had 534 yards of offense and limited the Cougars to just 165 yards, 73 on the ground and 92 through the air.

The Cougars are now 2-1 on the season.
