Nora Mickelson's daughters, Ruth and Darlene, visited her a week ago Sunday at her home.

Brenda Estenson and daughter, Alexandra from Moorhead and Lila Estenson were dinner guests Sunday at the Scott Estenson home.

Many attended church services at Trinity Church in Cyrus on Sunday. Jack Pearson gave the musical program along with the services by our pastor. Jack played religious songs on a violin and several other instruments. With the pastor's service this was a wonderful time for all who attended the service.

Mrs. Joe Wersinger accompanied Valorie Schmidt on March 18 to Holly Ridge in Starbuck. There Mrs. Wersinger showed off her collection of recycled Barbie Dolls. Mrs. Wersinger has made new clothes for these recycled dolls. Valorie gave the presentation about the dolls.

Edna Dohmstreich was among many to attend the funeral Saturday morning for Ervin Jacobson at the Evangelical Church in Morris.

Swan Lake

Renee Gorham and Dan Helberg returned home on March 28 from a fun and interesting 13 day trip to Jamaica.

Many attended the funeral for Duane Hagen at the Trinity Church in Cyrus on Wednesday.

Renee Gorham and Dan Helberg visited Tammy Ewing Saturday in Alexandria and enjoyed lunch with her.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Dohlen, Mr. and Mrs. Delroy Asmus, Amanda Dohlen, Angie Joos and children, and Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Dohlen attended a birthday party and supper for Nichole Asmus and Leah Asmus Sunday afternoon at the Nichole Asmus home.

Many attended the dinner last Saturday for our troops going off to war. The dinner that followed was held at the Lee Community Center in Morris.

The Busy Swan Homemakers Club observed their 40th anniversary. I was once with this homemaker group in their early beginning.

Mr. and Mrs. Greg Kirk spent last weekend at the Bergman home in Coon Rapids to help her sister, Renee Bergman celebrate her birthday.

Greg Kirk returned home from a fishing trip on the Rainy River. He was lucky and caught a trophy fish, but had to throw it back.

We are all awaiting spring to see the grass turn green and flowers blooming.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Gades were Sunday afternoon and supper guests at the Barry Gades home.

Mr. and Mrs. Milfred Kaehler helped Kaitlyn and Kayle Brandner celebrate their fifth birthday on Saturday afternoon at the Steve Brandner home in Clitherall.

North Cyrus

Mr. and Mrs. Lauren Sansness attended the IHF noon luncheon at the Glenwood Lutheran Church on Sunday.

Mrs. Ward Voorhees attended the funeral services for Jeanette Dolven on Monday at the First Lutheran Church in Morris. Burial was at the East Scandia Church cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. John Dickey visited Thursday evening at the Gorden Thompson home.
