Swan Lake
The Swan Lake 4H Club met the first week in July and the members talked about their projects to all present.
Mr. and Mrs. Keith Asmus, Mr. and Mrs. Delroy Asmus, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Dohlen, Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Dohlen and Ashley, Amanda Dohlen, Mrs. Eric Joos and children were visitors at the Nichole Asmus home Sunday to help Justin celebrate his birthday.
Recently Dan and Renee Helberg and Gladys Helberg visited with Josh Helberg and friend, Heather in St. Cloud. There they saw Josh Helberg's home which they had built themselves. Dan and Renee Helberg, with several of Renee's cousins, came and enjoyed games and dinner at the Darlene Lucas home. Tammy Ewing and son, Destry, were there also.
Cyrus
Buck Zumhofe of Cyrus was head of a wrestling match which took place Saturday evening in back of the Lariat in Cyrus. Many attended this match.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Thompson and Mary attended the 60th wedding anniversary for Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Schaefer at their daughter's home Saturday. Edna Dohmstreich also attended the anniversary.
Sophie Lyseng was in the play Fiddler on the Roof in Eagan. Sophie is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ward Voorhees.
Dustin, Sarah and Logan of Maple Grove spent the weekend at the Peter Brandt home.
Avis Brandt and Edna Dohmstreich visited with Becky Soberg at the Minnewaska Home on Sunday afternoon.
North Cyrus
Burdell Barsness spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Barsness at their cabin at Blackwell Lake.
Many attended the Waterama activities and also the Waterama Parade in Glenwood Sunday.
