Dayton signs bill to provide heating assistance

ST. PAUL -- An additional $20 million is on its way to Minnesotans who can’t afford to pay for heat this winter.

After legislators unanimously passed the heating aid increase in the first days of the 2014 session, Gov. Mark Dayton signed it Friday. The money goes into the state's program to help low-income Minnesotans pay for heat.
