DeRoeck sets new Cougar record in high jump
The University of Minnesota, Morris track and field teams returned to action Friday at the Hamline Invite. The meet marked the Cougars' first time competing outside, after closing the indoor season in early March.
Jennifer LaRoque, gets her first win with her 5-feet-3 (1.60m) tally in the high jump. She tied for the top spot with Rachel Melum from Minnesota, and moves into second all-time at Morris, just 1.5 inches behind the school record.
