Distance leads UMM at Eagle Open

The University of Minnesota, Morris mens and womens track and field teams were led by the legs of the distance runners during the Eagle Open at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse on Friday, May 9. FULL RESULTS
Linda Keller took second in the 5000m, finishing in a time of 17:38.81. Chalmer Combellick had a new best time in the 1500m on Friday finishing in 3:57.04 and taking fourth place at the Eagle Open.
Leandro Dower was sixth in the 200m dash, clocking in at 22.48. Kaitlin Kamm tied for third in the high jump with a mark of 1.55m.
Rachel Wingenbach was eighth in the 3000m steeplechase in a time of 12:32.93. Caleb Schneider improved his steeplechase time, finishing in 10:03.23.
The Cougars now prepare for the NCAA Qualifier at UW-LaCrosse on Thursday, May 15.
