Mark Koepke and I attended the New Horizons Ag Services customer appreciation picnic on Aug. 23 and the 90th birthday party for Lee Pederson in Herman on Monday, Aug. 24. We also visited my aunt Pearl Anderson in her apartment in Morris on Aug. 21 and Arden Frank at his apartment on Aug. 27. On Aug. 29, Mark and I were part of a group that helped pack meals at the Feed My Starving Children event in Morris. Our group packed enough meals to feed 70 children for a year. That evening, we were guests of Peggy Wischnak at the Pizza Ranch.

Mark has been enjoying his time here, visiting with some people he has not seen in 32 years. His address is 301 12th Street East, West Fargo, ND 58078. Robert (Bobby) Koepke's address is 333 Daphne Circle, Orlando, FL 32833. His foster brother Jimmy also lives in the Orlando area. His foster sister Linda lives in Wisconsin. He is enjoying his stay here so much, he is considering moving here permanently.

It was another case of many hands make light work as another good crew was on hand on Aug. 28 to help take the fences down and put things away at the Threshing Bee grounds.
