Our mild winter came to an abrupt halt over the weekend with snow, cold and stormy weather. It started snowing some on Friday and continued off and on the rest of the weekend, with about seven inches when all was said and done. Blizzard conditions on Sunday caused most church services and other events in the area to be postponed or canceled. On Monday it was time to put the shovels, snow blowers, scoops, etc. back to work again.
