Drums and dance part of next UMM Performing Arts Series

October will end with a thunderous Performing Arts Series (PAS) performance at the University of Minnesota, Morris. Jigu! Thunder Drums of China melds music, choreography and beautiful costumes to create a story the audience hears, sees, and feels. The performance will be held in Edson Auditorium in the Student Center on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at 7:30 p.m.

Nic McPhee, professor of computer science, has been a season ticket holder since moving to Morris in 1991. He looks forward to Thunder Drums. "I really love drums, especially big drums, so Jigu! is obviously going to be interesting!"
